EXHIBITOR'S MANUAL
The "Women in BisNis" Fair 2002 will be organized
by the National Women's Movement of Suriname to emphasize the role
of women in the development process; to exchange knowledge and experience
in the field of (micro-) entrepreneurship; and to establish trade
relations. Women from all over the country will have the opportunity
to exhibit, promote and trade their products and/or services, while
participation of female (micro-) entrepreneurs from other Caricom
countries is encouraged.

in Suriname and between Suriname and other Caricom countries.

There will be standard booths of 2.9 x 3.2 =9.3 m2 available.
The prices per standard booth is US$ 150,=
Decoration of booths will take place on Wednesday, October 30 and
Thursday, October 31 2002, from 10.00 - 15.00 hours. Exhibitors
must clear their booths on Sunday 3 October, immediately after the
closing of the fair (19.00 hours).
Provisions
The organization provides for one light spot, one table and two
chairs. Extra chairs and tables can be obtained if specified on
the application form. During the fair professional services such
as first aid, car watch and security services will be available
Presentation
Exhibitors will have the opportunity to exhibit, distribute or sell
their products only from their booths. They can decorate their booths
as desired, but it will not be allowed to nail anything to the floor,
walls or ceiling of the hall.
Liability
It will be mutually agreed that the organizer will not be liable
to the exhibitor for any damage or loss or destruction of the exhibitor's
property or injuries to persons resulting from any cause. Al claims
for such damage or injury are for the account of the exhibitor.
All booth personnel are required to wear an exhibitor's badge during
the opening hours of the fair. At the end of every evening, booth
personnel should remain until visitors have left. As direct sales
will be permitted, exhibitors will be advised to take all necessary
security provisions with regard to cash in their booths. The organizers
will take care of security of the site and of all booths between
closure and opening hours
Hotel rates
Single rooms US$ 50 to $ 90 per day
Double rooms US$ 60 to $100 per day
Guest houses US$ 10 to $ 50 per day
Transportation rates
Airport - hotel US$ 10 to $ 25 per person
Hotel - fair US $ 3 to $ 6 per trip
Consumption rates
Average consumption rate (breakfast, lunch, beverages) US$ 5 to
$ 20 per day per person.
